You can download a version of the Open Source Office Suite OpenOffice 2.0 for Linux with Graphite support (Beta release) from scripts.sil.org. It has a few rendering errors with justified text, but otherwise is working well. You can only print correctly if you create a PDF file in OpenOffice and then print the PDF separately.
Graphite enabled OpenOffice for Windows is also now available.
On Windows you can type using Keyman. On Linux, you must configure SCIM to use XIM “On the spot” mode (in the Front End / X Window Setup options) for KMFL to work correctly with OpenOffice. On AMD-64 bit Linux, you may have problems getting KMFL to work with 32-bit OpenOffice. This could probably be solved by installing the 32-bit version of KMFL as well as the 64-bit version. This problem should go away once 64-bit OpenOffice becomes available.
